WHAT IS A HOUSE BLESSING?
A house blessing is a ritual to promote positivity, goodness and love in a house through the name and power of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It also helps to protect the house from negative energy. In a way, it is like a baptism for a house!
WHY HAVE A HOUSE BLESSING?
There does not have to be a specific reason for having a house blessing, although some people might have a reason. Most people ask for one because they have just moved into a new house or they might have lived in their house a while and decided later on that they would like to have one.
WHAT DOES A HOUSE BLESSING INVOLVE?
The form of the house blessing can be discussed and decided between us. Usually, I follow a pattern of prayer and travel to each room in the house reciting prayers and blessings. I can also adapt house-blessings to be interfaith or even humanist in content. For instance, if someone in your household is really interested in Buddha, I can include His name in the prayers and ritual.
I can also perform a humanist ritual, in which no mention of God is used at all.
COST
I have no compulsory charge for this service, although a contribution towards my unstipened ministry wouldbe very welcome.
