THE SERVICE
Whilst some people want the traditional formula for their funeral service, more and more people want something different; something that reflects their life, personality and energy. I believe that the wishes of those passed on and their loved ones are paramount - and come before any churchy tradition or stuffy etiquette.
That is why I am passionate about providing a funeral service that is tailor made. It could be quiet and reflective, celebratory and vibrant - or a mixture of both. If asked to plan a funeral I will spend time with the family finding out everything I can about the one passed on and his loved ones so I can help plan a sensitive and beautiful ceremony that provides comfort to those grieving and celebrates the life.
THE VENUE
This relies on what type of funeral is required.
Memorial services can be held anywhere - at a favourite location, in the home, in a function venue, at a hotel, in a garden etc...
COST
My primary aim is to provide comfort and peace for those who are grieving and to honour the life of the deceased.
For funerals, only the standard fee is charged through the undertakers.
For memorials, a small donation towards my voluntary ministry can be made for those who can afford to do so; although this is not compulsory.
